Bio:
Farheen Khan is a consultant through Fsk Associates.Although Farheen has been dealing with minor food allergies to fruit throughout her childhood, it never posed to be a problem, until the development of severe and anaphylactic allergies during adulthood.

She developed her food allergies at the age of 21 and has been dealing with them ever since. In the last 8 years, Farheen has experienced Anaphylaxis to almost all foods, with the exception of chicken, beef, eggplant, tomatoes and potatoes both upon consumption and inhalation of them. This posed to be an issue while attending university and during her employment at a corporate office.

Farheen has done much research on the topic of food allergies and briefly speaks about it in her book titled "From Behind the Veil: a Hijabi's Journey to Happiness" (to be released March 2010) which discusses her life and the challenges she has faced over the last 8 years, one of which is food allergies. The information on this website is the compilation of research she has conducted, coupled with personal experience that of her own and other allergy survivors/ sufferers.

Farheen is an advocate of immunotherapy and other food allergy treatments and is an avid supporter of organizations such as Medic Alert and Anaphylaxis Canada.
